These indeterminate black cherry fruits are actually a dark purplish-brown-burgundy color with an interesting sheen to the skins. Very productive, quite small seeds, fruits grow in clusters and have an enjoyable, dark, smoky flavor Crack-resistant, 1” fruits, yummy.
Seeds need to be started indoors 6-7 weeks before last frost. Sow 1/4" deep in a light soil mix; harden off & plant out 24 - 48" apart, in not too rich a soil, after all danger of frost is over. Tomatoes benefit from staking.
